Alison O'Keefe and Kristen Munroe launched the company three years ago after O'Keefe, a graphic designer, and Munroe, then a management consultant, joined forces to create a stationary brand that is now carried in more than 75 stores.

May 21, 2006, Miami – allie munroe, a boutique business specializing in original invitations, announcements, greetings and stationery, today announced the debut of its holiday line. Attending The National Stationery - Show® in New York City from May 21-24, 2006, for its second year in a row, the young Miami-based company also confirmed it has successfully added more than 60 U.S. retailers to its roster in the past year. Joining the company’s baby line, the new holiday line features party invites, photo cards and greeting cards for Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s. In addition, allie munroe will debut its first designs from the party invitations and social stationery line at the show. The company’s principals, Alison O’Keefe and Kristen Munroe, made the announcement.

The Miami-based concern will mark its debut unveiling a line of baby stationery including announcements, invitations and note cards at The National Stationery Show® in New York City from May 15-18, 2005, Booth #5370 . Allie Munroe will introduce additional lines in the near future including holiday cards, wedding invitations, specialized party invitations and stationery. The company's principals and founders, Alison O'Keefe and Kristen Munroe, made the announcement.

The company’s vision is to put a new twist on the old, crafting personalized paper designs using vintage techniques in fresh and modern ways. Textured paper. Saturated colors. Classic typefaces. Paper Inspirations
allie munroe debuted a complete line of custom and imprintable baby announcements, shower and sip n’ see invitations plus coordinating stationery in May 2005. In addition to first-time parents, the allie munroe baby line is perfect for growing families. The line showcases designs for families welcoming multiples (twins, triplets or more) and new siblings.In 2006, allie munroe launched its holiday line complete with a custom album and boxed holiday greeting cards, photo cards and party invitations. From whimsical to religious, the line features letterpress printing, engraving, foil-stamping, embossing, debossing or a combination of techniques. In 2007, allie munroe will be adding additional pieces across its product lines and completing the social stationery and party invitation collections with exciting new designs!
Creative Process
allie munroe’s modern designs are inspired by centuries old printing techniques. Each piece showcases methods which deliver an unequaled high-quality, tactile feeling. Original items feature letterpress printing, engraving, foil stamping, embossing, debossing or a combination of techniques. Created on thick, soft paper, allie munroe designs are characterized by contemporary colors, original illustrations and multi-dimensional layers like folds and flaps.
Principals
allie munroe was created by two Miami-based entrepreneurs, friends and mothers, Alison O’Keefe and Kristen Munroe. A skilled and experienced graphic designer with a degree in architecture, Alison works as allie munroe’s creative visionary. Kristen draws upon her more than a decade of business experience to oversee the company’s strategic planning, sales, marketing and operations.
